Wow! God did it!

He took a prophecy from Pastor Dave and a thought that He placed in John's heart, and transformed it over 9 months into a miracle.

Hear the prophecy and  Feed the miracle thought. Is the lesson learnt. By faith in Gods spoken word John followed a thought in his heart to offer the owners of the Zicatela church building 30,000 dollars for their property. When John mentioned it  to the elders and pastors, they said that the offer was crazy since the property was worth over 5 times that with the buildings and besides we didn't have the money. To everybody's amazement, one month later the owner came and said that he would accept the offer. We all thought "Now how is God going to pay for it!" But God had it all figured out.

   15 years ago Clint and Dianne Eccles had purchased a lot that someone had donated to us. With the money we were able to pay for the down payment on our center church in Puerto Escondido, Clint later sold it back to us at his cost on a 5 year no interest payment plan. (another God miracle - thank you Clint) At that time we were thinking that we would build the Zicatela church there, but God had other plans. Someone built a three story hotel in front of the lot, blocking all our view of the ocean, but then he realized that he needed our lot for parking space. All of a sudden our lot had more then 4 times its value ($30,000 to be exact) which became the money needed to buy the church building in Zicatela at the price that God had put on John's heart.

Next interesting twist, even though we had the money for the purchase in June, God put on John's heart to wait until August to make the purchase, not knowing why. We then discovered that the couple who owned the property had separated and the man was trying to work the deal behind his wife's back, illegally, which would have left us with major problems. During that 3 month time we were able, through a local money lender, earn another $1000 dollars which we would need for the following;  The building that we bought from the lady was on one property but the Sunday school area  and court yard is on the property beside it. So we also offered to buy that adjoining lot for 5000 dollars, one third of its market value, and as you guessed it we didn't have the money for that. She  said she would think about it. So when she arrived to finalize the deal she said that she decided to accept the offer and God provided someone down here that gave us a interest free loan to cover the rest of the purchase price.
